FAA Part 135 Air Carrier Certificate
Issued by the US Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, this Part 135 Certificate, defined as a 'non-scheduled air taxi" is the most important document that an air ambulance company possesses. Aero Jet International prides itself on having achieved this prestigious legal status by obtaining its own certificate based on a lengthy application process with the FAA which involves safety, regulation and compliance issues to the Federal Aviation standards. A very small percentage of air ambulance providers nationwide can boast their operational standards are up to the legal standards of the Federal Aviation Administration utilizing their own company name. Many "piggy back" off a larger air carrier in order to avoid all compliance issues involved in the application process. CHECK THE CERTIFICATE CAREFULLY to ensure the company name matches the 135 certificate.

Canadian Transportation Agency Permit
Issued by the Canadian Transportation Agency, this certificate is necessary for an air ambulance provider to utilize Canadian air space and operate legally in Canada. This is the equivalent of the United States Federal Aviation Authority Part 135 Certificate.

Department of Health EMS License
Issued by the State in which the Air Ambulance Provider is situated, this certificate enables an air ambulance provider to legally work in that State.
Aero Jet International's certificate, issued by the State of Florida must be renewed every two years.
